S&S announces the new Mini Hu for IAAPA

Logan, Utah, USA – The innovative team at S&S Worldwide has once again demonstrated its industry-leading creativity, with the introduction of the new Mini Hu ride at the worldwide exposition of the International Association of Amusement Rides and Attractions (IAAPA) in Orlando, Florida.

The Mini Hu is the first of the “Huli Hu” collection of rides, utilizing a brand new, patent-pending ride concept. The company’s own employees – true veterans in the world of high-thrill amusement rides and coasters – are absolutely raving about the ride experience of the Mini Hu. A true-blue family ride, the Mini Hu is designed to delight everyone, from young children to teenagers to their grandparents.

When S&S set out to create designs that would broaden its line of family attractions, the goal was to invent new rides that would be inexpensive, highly visual, and would provide exciting interactive experiences. The Mini Hu, as part of the “Huli Hu” family of products, does just that and more. It brings out the kid in everyone and is guaranteed to be a hit with riders of all ages.

The Mini-Hu is comprised of two arms, each swinging 180 degrees from a central hub. Four passengers are seated facing center in each of two teacup-style, free-spinning gondolas. As the ride is powered up, the arms synchronously rise up in the air to vertical and then continue to horizontal in an opposite orientation, while the passengers are free to interact and to spin the gondolas as much – or as little – as they prefer. This innovative ride concept provides an amazing and exciting experience for all.

“I believe our team has hit a home run with our new Mini Hu ride. To me, it defines ‘fun,’” said Kevin Rohwer, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for S&S. “This new concept is so unique and enjoyable that I see it becoming as much of a hit in the industry as our Frog Hopper children’s ride.”
