Lightswitch Opens Sixth Office in Hong Kong

Hong Kong (November 10, 2012) — Lightswitch, an entertainment and architectural lighting design firm, has opened an office in Hong Kong serving the Asian market.  Alice Tang and Warren Kong serve as Director of Lighting Design for Lightswitch Hong Kong.

 Lightswitch’s projects are viewed by thousands of visitors everyday and have won multiple awards including Themed Entertainment Association (“Thea”) Awards and IES Illumination Awards of Merit for projects in Macau, Japan, Chicago, and Las Vegas. Lightswitch designers have created projects all around the globe for world-class theme parks including Disneyland, Universal Studios, OCT, and SeaWorld and resort environments such as Crown Casino, Australia, Fremont Street Experience, Las Vegas, Coca-Cola Pavilion Beijing Olympics, and City of Dreams Bubble Theater, Macau.

With over 17 years in business, Lightswitch has more than 40 full-time team members with extensive experience. In addition, Lightswitch has domestic and international partners with a dedicated staff who have vast knowledge of working in international markets such as UAE; Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, and Asia, including Singapore, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing, Macau, Japan and Korea.
