Ryman Arts celebrates its 25th Anniversary with an Alumni Art Exhibition showcasing its 25-year history and its impact on local artists. The Opening Reception welcomed 300 guests to a night of art, art making, and meet and greets with the alumni artists.

 

The exhibition featured 60 alumni artists, and was planned by a committee of Ryman Arts Alumni. The artwork featured in the exhibition showcases the raw and inspiring talent of both seasoned and emerging artists, all of who received their foundational training at Ryman Arts.

Ryman Arts Alumnus Oscar Magallanes (’93) poses next to his artwork, With Laws Like These at the Ryman Arts Alumni Exhibit. Oscar’s work has been exhibited at the North Carolina Museum of Art, Museo CEART de Baja California, and is part of the permanent collections of the National Museum of Mexican Art and the McNay Museum.
